Personvernerklæring for Sysle

Privacy policy and terms of use for Sysle: norske ordspill · English version

Sist oppdatert 2. november 2026

Behandlingsansvarlig er Chris K. N. Consulting AS (org.nr. 912 160 475), som driver Skriftlig.no.

Send en e-post til support@nextpage.no.

Vilkår for bruk av Sysle

Sist oppdatert 5. november 2026

Tilbyder er Chris K. N. Consulting AS (org.nr. 912 160 475), Saltboveien 25, 1560 Larkollen, som driver Skriftlig.no.

  9. Endringer.

Privacy policy for Sysle

Last updated 2 November 2026

This policy covers the Sysle app for iPhone and Android and the games at spill.skriftlig.no. The data controller is Chris K. N. Consulting AS (org. no. 912 160 475), which runs Skriftlig.no. Questions about privacy can be sent to support@nextpage.no.

What we store

  • Your streak is kept in your browser. Your rounds are kept on our server for 90 days, so your streak can be rebuilt if you switch browsers.
  • When you buy a vowel in Snutt, you answer a short question. The answers are stored without a name and used to make the next games.
  • If you put yourself on today's list, we store your name, your result and the date. Nothing else. The name is remembered and applies to all the games, so you stay on the list on the following days you play, until you turn it off in settings. The day's winner in Snutt or Flust may be mentioned by this name in our social media posts; if you have left the list, you are never mentioned.
  • If you turn on the reminder, we store the time and the address your browser uses for notifications. In the Sysle app on iPhone we instead store the address Apple gives the app for notifications. It is used only for the reminder, and is deleted the same way.
  • The widget for the Sysle app on iPhone shows only what is on the phone: which of today's games you have played. It fetches nothing from us and sends nothing.
  • For some of the games we count how many days you have played, with the first and last day. Nothing else.
  • If you create a transfer code, we store the code for 15 minutes, or until it is used. It points to your anonymous id and nothing else.
  • If you have been given a code to test a game before it opens to everyone, we store that your anonymous id has used the code, and when. Attempts in the code field are counted for one hour, so nobody can guess their way to a code. Both are deleted when you delete everything.
  • If you play Skred, we store the points, the number of words and the levels in each round you play, for 90 days like the other lists. The highest level you have reached is stored for one year after the last level you played.
  • If you send feedback, we receive the text, the date, which game it is about, your name on the list if you have one, and your e-mail address if you want a reply. It is sent by e-mail (through SendGrid) to our inbox at Help Scout, which we use to answer enquiries, and is deleted from the games' database after 30 days.
  • If you appeal an answer in Flust, we store the appeal, the comment and the day with your anonymous id, so we can tell you when it has been decided. If you vote on other players' appeals, we store your vote the same way. The comment is shown without a name to those who vote, and the case is sent by e-mail to our inbox at Help Scout, without the id. We keep the case itself (the answer, the category, the vote count and the outcome), without the id.
  • No cookies, no account, no tracking across websites.
  • A random, anonymous id in your browser is all that ties your answers together. If you add one of the games to your home screen, the id comes along, so you are the same player there.

Where it is kept, and for how long

Your moves in a round are sent to our server, which holds the answers: the letters you buy in Snutt, your answers in Flust and the words you find in Hulter. The server and database run on Cloudflare. Feedback goes by e-mail through SendGrid to Help Scout. Answers from buying vowels are kept, since they are the raw material for the next games. Answers in Flust are also kept, but the id is removed after 90 days, so they can no longer be linked to you. Today's list, rounds, reminders, appeals and votes are deleted after 90 days. The number of days played is deleted one year after the last day you played. We share nothing with others, and we sell nothing.

Delete everything

The red button above («Slett alt jeg har her», press it twice) deletes everything linked to your anonymous id: your streak and name in the browser, and your answers, results, reminder, feedback, appeals, votes, tester codes and Skred rounds on our server. It happens at once and cannot be undone. The games work as before afterwards; you just start from zero.

Terms of use for Sysle

Last updated 5 November 2026

These terms cover the Sysle app for iPhone and Android and the games at spill.skriftlig.no. The provider is Chris K. N. Consulting AS (org. no. 912 160 475), Saltboveien 25, 1560 Larkollen, Norway, which runs Skriftlig.no. You can reach us at support@nextpage.no, in Norwegian or English. This is also our point of contact for users and authorities. By playing, you accept these terms.

  1. The service. Sysle is a set of daily Norwegian word games. You need no account. We may change, add and remove games and features, and close the service.
  2. Price. The games are free. If anything becomes paid, you will see the price and what you get before you pay.
  3. Age. The content is made for everyone and meets the 12+ age rating in the app stores.
  4. How to play. Play yourself. Do not use software to play, fetch answers or fill the lists, do not pass on tester codes, and do not try to break into or overload the service.
  5. Your name and text. The name you use on the list, and what you write in feedback and appeals, must not be offensive, must not pretend to be someone else, and must not contain information about others or advertising. We may remove names and text that break this. You allow us to show your name on the list and in posts as described in the privacy policy, and to use feedback and appeals to improve the games. Appeals are decided by the rules shown in the game.
  6. Rights. The games, puzzles, texts and design belong to Chris K. N. Consulting AS. The word lists are based in part on Norsk ordbank (CC BY 4.0); see About the games and sources. Feel free to share your results, but do not copy the games or puzzles into other services.
  7. Liability. We do our best to keep the games working and the answers right, but we cannot promise that they are always available and free of errors, or that your streak and results are never lost. We are not liable for indirect loss. This does not limit your rights as a consumer.
  8. Leaving. You can stop whenever you like, and delete everything we hold about you with the button above. If someone breaks these terms, we may block them.
  9. Changes. If we change these terms, the date at the top of the terms changes. We announce important changes in the games, under «Nytt». If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply.
  10. Law and disputes. Norwegian law applies. Please contact us first. As a consumer you can also get help from the Norwegian Consumer Council and complain to the Consumer Disputes Commission, and you can always take the matter to the court where you live.
